Mel Matthews

Hi I'm Mel, a designer and art director with over 20 years of experience, specialising in branding, marketing design and Ai-generated image art direction.

• Experienced Marketing designer - working across print, social and digital communication for both in-house and agency settings from concept through to production. I work fast and effectively in this area thanks to years of hands-on experience.

• Branding - this needs a more considered approach, with more time needed to develop initial strategy and scope and time needed to craft bespoke designs, so I only take on 1–2 branding projects per month to ensure quality and focus.

• Ai-generated imagery - I specialise in creative bespoke images for brands using MidJourney

I currently work part-time as an in-house Creative Director and have hands-on experience working across a range of categories from FMCG, Finance, Education, Tourism and Fashion and across campaign ideation, social media (including writing content and post copy), brand identity and brand guidelines, posters, leaflets, annual reports and brochures - and experience managing and art directing photo shoots.
