Supporting Sport is a confidential gambling addiction consultancy for professional sportspeople. The brand I built helped the founder land his first Championship club contract, with further conversations following.
The existing support pathway, five weeks of residential care with the club, PFA and Sporting Chance all formally notified, created enough stigma that players avoided seeking help until they hit rock bottom. The proposition was to be the alternative, one person inside the club, confidential, before a problem becomes a crisis. Without a credible identity he wouldn't get past the front door.
I worked on the full brand system, logo, identity, business cards, pitch deck and website. The pitch deck made the commercial case to club directors, designed to be handed across a table and do the talking. The website spoke to two audiences, club directors who needed confidence to start a conversation, and players who needed a discreet way in.
