Heya! I’m TIETA, a freelance web designer and visual storyteller based in New Zealand. I work with small businesses that care about their online presence and want something more than just a white template.
For me, a website is an incredible opportunity to visually tell a story.
SOUTH ISLAND HUNTING
The challenge
The challenge was to design a website that showed how friendly and approachable a guided hunting experience can be, without reducing the professionalism, expertise, or credibility of the company.
The goal
To strike a balance between warmth and trust, welcoming newcomers while still speaking clearly to experienced hunters.
What we did
South Island Hunting came to TIETA with an outdated website that no longer reflected their experience or the quality of their guided hunts.
Branding & Visuals.
I took over the project end-to-end, creating a new logo, a cohesive visual identity, and a website that captures the raw, adventurous spirit of what they offer.
Business offer & SEO.
Beyond design, I helped clarify their service offering and optimised the site for search, ensuring the right audience could easily find and understand their experiences.Web design.
The new website features a clean, modern layout paired with strong imagery. It highlights the thrill of the hunt while keeping navigation simple and making enquiries and bookings straightforward.
The result
Within three weeks of launch, South Island Hunting began seeing a steady increase in bookings, a clear sign that thoughtful design, clear messaging, and solid SEO can deliver fast, real-world impact.
