Gerald's team engaged us to produce a blog-style website to provide a vehicle for thought pieces with a political angle. The team knew what appearance they wanted, but needed our help with functionality. We developed the site using the Kadence theme and delivered a few touches of our own. Gerald and the team are overjoyed with the result and the site went live immediately.

We didn’t have to understand the clever software and design capability that underpinned our choices – could rely on Karen and Phil’s team to talk us through options and then simply provide solutions for all the features that we began to realise we wanted.
Gave grounded, practical advice that showed a good grasp of both our appetite to create a sturdy, interesting blog website and our capability for taking the blog further ourselves over time. My father and I have greatly enjoyed the learning and are feeling quite confident now about the future development of ‘Kahu Despatches’. Having said that, I know Avalon will be right there with more support when and whatever we ask!
Fast workers – Avalon doesn’t hang about. Businesslike approach, responsive and hard working. You ask for something to be done and it’s there, or Karen replies straight away to suggest and talk through other options that could work better.
Transparent and reasonable charges – we feel we’ve got excellent value for our investment and Avalon have been very clear about encouraging us to take up the reins and invest our own skills in fuelling the blog and keeping our costs down.
We didn’t know what we wanted when we started – and we’re proud and feel a strong sense of ownership for the ‘Kahu Despatches’ we have now. The website is us - exactly how we want it to be with plenty of potential to be even better - a bargain at the price.
