About this project
Kahungunu Mataariki Project is local, grassroots, Māori led cultural educational initiative that seeks to support the continued transmission and development of mātauranga pertaining to Mataariki among Ngāti Kahungunu hapū. The project is split into four wanānga that highlight each of the Mataariki Stars and how they relate to the different aspects of life. I designed and built the website as a way for people to be able access photos, videos and information from each wanānga.
